A civilian armored car is a security vehicle which made by replacing the windows of a standard vehicle (typically a limousine or SUV) with bulletproof glass and inserting layers of armor plate into the body panels. Unlike a military armored car, which has armor plate mounted on the outside of the vehicle, a civilian armored car typically looks no different from a standard vehicle.

The first Junkers prototype—3301 and marked as D-2000—first flew on 6 November 1929 with four diesel engines: two L55 12-cylinder V-motors and two 294 kW L8 6-cylinder inline motors with combined power rating of 1470 kW (1971 hp).[3] The Reich Air Ministry purchased the D-2000 for demonstration flights,[4] and took delivery on 27 March 1930. In flight tests, the G.38 set four world records including speed, distance and duration for airplanes lifting a 5000 kg payload.[1] On 2 May 1930 Lufthansa put the D-2000 into commercial service for both scheduled and chartered flights.

The Swan River estuary flows through the city of Perth. Its lower reaches are relatively wide and deep, with few constrictions, while the upper reaches are usually quite narrow and shallow.

World’s First Diesel Powered Roller
1911 marked an important milestone in HAMM company history: While steamrollers dominated the market, the Hamm brothers designed and built the world’s first diesel-powered roller. This was truly a groundbreaking moment in road construction. By the end of the 1920s, Franz and Anton had come to realise that paved roads would become increasingly important in the future, so the company decided to specialise in rollers. It was an opportune decision, and in 1932 the engineers at HAMM had a tremendous innovation patented: the world’s first tandem roller with all-wheel drive and steering. This was a fundamental revolution in the design of rollers a revolution that reverberates in the industry to the present day.
